Brad was born and raised in Central FL and has been a Maitland resident for over 24 years. He graduated from Edgewater HS and went on to attend Valencia and UCF. Brad started his first business at 12 and has founded several successful ventures. Brad is currently the President of NuDesign Builders, which has been a fixture of the community for 19 years renovating and restoring single family homes and businesses across central FL. Brad resides in the Dommerich neighborhood with his wife Stephanie and their three boys, Clayton, Tanner and Liam.
Brad is passionate about our community and has volunteered his time for years coaching youth sports to serving on Maitland's Board of Adjustments and Appeals, the Board of Zoning and Adjustments and worked with city staff for 2+ years to help Maitland streamline the permitting process after Covid accelerated the city's push to go fully digital. He is also involved with the Dr Phillips Center for Children and Families and UP Orlando (United Against Poverty).
As a fellow taxpayer and businessman, Brad will fight for fiscally conservative budgets and low taxes. He will advocate for zero based budgeting, meaning no more automatic line item increases. Expenses must be justified every year.
Preventing crime and protecting our neighborhoods from unwanted traffic and growth will be a priortiy for Brad.
With over 24 years in construction, Brad will help the construction companies stay within budget and scope for the new library and repurposing of the old library building.
Keeping our families safe must always be a top priority. Brad will support our police and fire, and ensure they have the funding they need to keep us safe.
As a Dad and former youth coach, Brad will support Maitland's tradition of strong youth sports programs, great parks and regular community events that bring families and neighbors together.
Maitland's diversity is our strength, which is why Brad will work to improve communication and involvement between City Hall and our Citizenry.
I'm always willing to hear what you have to say, reach out and lets talk of meet for coffee.
